Distribution and supply chain management firm Allcargo Gati Limited (formerly Gati Limited) has strengthened its supply chain operations as it expects robust growth in shipments this festive season.
The company has scaled up its technological capabilities advancement and manpower strength at its sorting and fulfilment centres, and beefed up its last-mile delivery operations to boost its order processing and delivery efficiency to cater to the volume-driven, time-sensitive demand.
Allcargo Gati has launched last-mile delivery operations for e-commerce giants in multiple locations in Maharashtra and in West Bengal. The company runs 15 sorting centres for its ecommerce customers.
Sandeep Kulkarni, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Allcargo Gati Limited, said, “We have tied up with various e-commerce giants and have set a target to deliver more than 10 lakh parcels a day across India. We have achieved this through various enhancements like advanced technological solutions, increased warehousing capacity and expanded last-mile delivery networks.”
